After over a week of rainy days, we finally had an opportunity to start working! The first project is the detached two-car garage. The foundation and slab were just finished yesterday, and Hank (my dad) and I started on construction today.
We managed to get the sill bolted on, after returning to the hardware store for more sill sealer. (oops!) As you can see in the above picture, we assembled the east wall and will hopefully be lifting it in to place tomorrow.
